Bangi Golf Resort

Dearest readers, as promised in the Olaf @ Golf tournament post, these are some of the pics that I have taken during the tournament. Sorry it took so long. My site admin told me that my pics were too terrible to publish but did manage to salvage a few pics here and there. Before the start I took this photo to show the beautiful scenery that Bangi Golf Resort has. The flora and fauna of this golf course is impeccable.
This is the first thing you would come across as you head down to your first tee. Bear in mind, this golf resort has a whopping 27-hole. Today, we were playing off the 5 tee. Our tournament is a shot gun format; that means each flight will start off a specific hole simultaneously. Since most of the photos are not really good, this is the relative first shot of the day and will you look at that for a starter. Tremendous view and splendid fairway, if I can find!
Ok! Ok! So the pics around really so good but what did you expect, I had to concentrate on my golf. I did however come across something in which I believe shouldn’t be happening at the golf course. This is not a USGA sanctioned event but can anyone tell me why and what this is doing in the centre of the fairway during a tournament? I mean the club should have the decency to do its repair work after the tournament. Worse still, the workers were not around! It may or may not have disrupted the play but sigh….
But nevertheless, it was a good day for golf. The weather was perfect and frankly, I thoroughly enjoyed myself. Although I may not have been the champion for the day but I had the company of my dad. It’s not always enjoyable to play with your own dad but I was just happy to be having a round with him. I couldn’t get any pics of him and me but I will always treasure the moment. He did beat me on the day! I gotta practise harder on the range with my pals and hope to give some back to him. Before I finish here’s another good look at one of the other hole with a great view. Also, thanks for a great time Bangi Golf Resort and I’ll be back!!!
Nice shots. I havent play they before. Maybe 1 day i will check it out. Any special promotion rates?
flsam, July 6th, 2007 at 4:09 pmflsam- there are very good promotion rates from the course itself. If I am not mistaken, the current rates for weekend golf for a round on Sunday(whole day) is RM 370 for a flight of four. Check it out. Heard about your hole in one. Congrats.
