The problem with these guys or gals on why they hate golf is simple. In one word “ignorance”. Has it ever occurred to you that you are the problem itself! Look, I have full testimonials that “golf” is a great game. Ask my fellow blogger friends like wingz or kenny. Yes, they started like you. It looks silly and stupid! And you need to be real old to play it, Right? Wrong! You should start as young as you can, ask Mr. Tiger Woods! These are maybe some of the other reasons why people hate golf. Let’s examine a few of them;

Once in a while, you get the feeling that not everything is life is about golf. But what you have to believe in is that golf does take a part in some decisions that you do in life. Olaf has a great golfing partner, Azni. He has been golfing for nearly 10 or more years. Has a great short game and can take on anyone on his day, barring the tour professionals. But it’s not only about him but how life takes a fine turn on one’s destiny. Who would have thought that this golfer would be selling CHICCKENSSSSS!

The annual major event is back! The Masters has always had the prestige and glamour. The British Open is a touch of class with a severe test of nature strikes back! and the PGA Championship, well how do you describe it. Just one of the four, I guess. BUT tomorrow, the test of the year is back. Rated as the one of the toughest test of the 4 majors is going to start, Oakmont is the big test this year and who will second guess the speed of the greens. The US of A always show-cases the best of courses every year. As in the words of Gary McCord, “The greens look like they were bikini waxed”. Although this was said during the 1990’s about the Masters. One can only guess how fast the greens are going to be in this tournament. But let’s talk about the serious contenders this year!

To all of us golfers out there, we already know how big these two events are. But even the great Jack Nicklaus has come up to say that it could use more attention by including more players. For a short recap, the Ryder Cup is a bi-yearly affair that pits the top US players versus Europe. Whilst the latter is the US vs. the rest of the world (excluding players from Europe). I couldn’t put it in another way by that I agree 100% with Mr. Nicklaus. Why should the US play different teams and make them the anchor team (apart from the fact that they are the richest association with the biggest purse)?

A great deal has been mentioned of this 16 year old “phenom”. She drives the ball further than most men golfers. She is gorgeous and can really play. But will she be an “Anna Kornikova” or a “Maria Sharapova”? Not to presume that they are not only beauties on their own but also that they both have a tremendous ability to play tennis. Although the latter, we presume would be both a champion and a beauty. The press have given plenty of attention to charter the flight or plight of this prodigious talent.

No wonder Golfnick gave this man the top marks at our recent post as the man to challenge Tiger Woods for his No. 1 spot. His short game was tremendous! Phil had made shots out of nowhere even he was staring at big numbers. His scrambling ability was nothing short of miraculous. And the most apparent improvement came from his once suspect long game (especially his driver). I wonder who is laughing louder, Phil or Butch Harmon (his new swing coach). Can we credit at least 30% of this success to Butch? This man has already proven his worth with (who else!) Tiger, Olazabal, Adam Scott and former great Greg Norman. But let’s not take the full credit away from Phil, who has been knocking at the door for too many a year now.
