Cheapest Golfing experience, Malaysia

February 7th, 2007 by Olaf Bound.s

Olaf just had a great golf experience. Did you know that you can golf over a weekend for just RM45.00 (USD 12)? The package is inclusive of buggy, meal voucher worth RM10 (USD 3.50) and a bottle of mineral water. I can’t see anybody or anywhere beating this price the world over. Not even Thailand can beat this. The place is in Kuala Kubu Bharu located about 45km from the grand city of Kuala Lumpur. I welcome anyone who can beat this price the world over. I can show you some pics in my next posting but can you imagine this. Of course you can’t expect bay hill extravagance but for a golfer, it’s a steal. No discount card, no club affiliation and no booking in advance. Just walk straight in! What a bargain! See if you can top this!!!

  • I am doing a survey on golf courses in Hulu Selangor, as a pro how do you rate KKB golf course compared to Lembah Beringin and Bukit Beruntung golf courses?

  • Umi-First off, I am not a pro so I am not in a position to comment or rate the golf courses in Lembah Beringin and Bukit Beruntung. However, I have played in both courses before. Bkt Beruntung is a 36 hole golf course and as an amateur, the course set up is very good. The East Course in particular is a very challenging course by itself. If I may have a chance to play there again soon, I will promise to show my readers a few pics on the course. As for Lembah Beringin, I believe it is now called Beringin Golf Resort. Again, since its new management takeover I have not had a chance to play there. I played there about 3years ago and it really wasn’t that good. But recently, some golfing friends have been giving it good reviews. So hope to see you there someday!
