Millionaire Golfer

Olaf was invited to a game of golf with a friend Sam. Sam is a reporter and told Olaf “Look, this is the only way I can get an exclusive from this self made millionaire.” “If I can get him to tell me his secret of making his millions, it will make centre-page” said Sam.

And so the millionaire Ralph, Sam and Olaf started their round. On the 2nd tee, Sam started his investigation and asked Ralph “How did you start out, Ralph? I mean getting to become a millionaire?” Ralph said “Well, I started out selling slippers by the roadside. Everyday come rain or shine, everyday slippers, slippers and more slippers. Then I save every penny I made.” “And that’s where you made your millions?” asked Sam. “No” as Ralph teed off, breaking the conversation.

By the 11th hole, Sam asked again “So, how did you make your millions?” Ralph while waiting for the group in front to putt out said “I rented a small retail shop with the money I saved after 8 years selling by the roadside.” And then Olaf curiously said “So, that’s how you made your millions!” “No, no, no” said Ralph, as we all progressed to get to the green. By now, Sam and Olaf were really in suspense as to how he made his money.

By the 17th hole, Sam asked again “So, how did you make your money?” As he putted out, Ralph replied “I saved and saved and saved all the money for another 6 years.” So Sam and Olaf nodded to each other as there finally found out his secret. As they finished up the game, Olaf was curious and asked Ralph “So, how many shops did it take for you to earn your millions?” Ralph then said “Oh, I closed it years ago.” Sam totally confused then asked him “where did you get you money, then?” Ralph said “I found out my long lost relative passed away and left me this fortune, I have been a millionaire ever since.”

Hahahahaha!!!!
